This is a quick post to let you know I’m rescheduling today’s planned response post to “Eric Hermannson’s Soul” until next Wednesday, 11/2.
Today was all about Edith Wharton.
My friend Emily and I drove up to The Mount, Edith Wharton’s house in the Berkshires. It was our second visit. The first was seven years ago when we were new friends. We had a fantastic day centered around a tour of Wharton’s library. More on that in the future, but for today I wanted to share this photo that I took of The Mount from the Woodland Walk which is just beyond Wharton’s formal gardens. Autumn in New England never disappoints!
