If you haven’t heard of BookTube, it’s a community within YouTube that focuses on making videos about books.
Earlier this week I made a video for Shawn the Book Maniac’s channel. He’s celebrating 2K subscribers and asked subscribers to submit their own bookish videos. I submitted a “Camera Flip” video which focuses on Willa Cather (surprising topic, I know 😉).
In the video, I talk about how exciting it can be to dive deep into studying an author, how I got into Cather, and then introduce her twelve novels. One commentator called it a “flash lit course on Cather,” which made me feel warm and fuzzy.
